Heritage Park - Flood Pole
Heritage Park Flood Pole Installed
Larry Shad's dream is finally a reality.
On Thursday April 11, 2019, the Flood Pole at Heritage Park was erected. Official Dedication was held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.
The Floods of 1913 and 1959 are marked on pole. These are heights the water rose above it's normal height.
Larry saved the height levels from their marks on the old Wilhelm Barn before it was destroyed by fire.
Heritage Park is on the site of the former Wilhelm Farm.

On a very warm evening, July 10, 2019 people gathered at Heritage Park to see the unveiling of the informative sign and official dedication of
the Flood Pole at Heritage Park.
